Wednesday, February 9 2011, the Institute of Social History “ProMemoria” in cooperation with the Faculty of History and Philosophy from the State University of Moldova has organized the public lecture “РПЦ и власть в контексте политики сохранения  влияния  РФ в СНГ” (Russian Orthodox Church and Power in the context of politics of keeping the influence of RF in the Commonwealth of Independent States) presented by Anastasia Mitrofanov, PhD in political science professor, as the Head of the Centre for Euro-Atlantic Studies at the Institute of Current Problems of International Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

Monday, January 17 2011, at the University of Craiova took place the Round Table “Istorie recentă, istoriografie şi cultură a memoriei în România şi Republica Moldova” (Recent History, Historiography and Culture of Memory in Romania and the Republic of Moldova), organized by the Institute for Socio-Humanitarian Studies named after “C.S. Nicolăescu-Plopșor” of the Romanian Academy (GRISCU – the Group of Cultural History) in cooperation with the Institute of Social History “ProMemoria” from Chișinău.
